What are the chances of my fiance and I getting command sponsorship to Germany with the Air Force?
My friend is leaving for basic in December, then the technical school is 9 months. Once, she asked to be sent to Germany. We intend to get married the week after leaving the technical school. If you get sent to Germany, what are the chances we take control of sponsorship so I can go with it?

Two things:
1) There is no such thing as command sponsorship in Germany.
2) I have to tell you now that this is poor planning. You need to be married before she enlists so that when she graduates from tech school, you will be on her orders. Also, she will get the BAH while she’s in training. If you don’t know what that is, you’re in sad shape, as you’ve not done your homework. If you wait until after tech school to get married, her orders to Germany will not include you, as they will be written and distributed to her before you get married, which means dependant travel will not be on there. Which means you’ll have to come out of pocket to travel to Germany, get her orders amended after she’s already arrived in country, which is a HUGE for her and her command, then file a claim to get your travel costs reimbursed. Have you even considered getting a passport yet? A passport is absolutely required for travel outside the US, military dependant or not.
none at all at first.. her orders will already be written before she gets married so you will not be on them. she would have to report and then request an ORDMOD to include extending to at least 3 years before she can even request CS for you.. and it can take 6 months to be approved.
She will receive her assignment prior to graduating Tech School. Since she will be single at that time, Your chances are Zero.
If you want to make sure, get married earlier, so there is time to process all the paperwork to insure depend ant travel, etc.
Dependents also need medical clearance to go overseas.
No guarantee she will get an OCONUS assignment.
