    In fact, the 500 can do the routing. You can create courses, and now they can create training sessions.

    You can not do any road on things. Only the 705 can do.

    could be explained if the Garmin 500 or the 305 can continue or do you follow a path already registered. if I walk a path, even if it does not have maps, can provide guidance on the 305-500 points of interest or where to go? (turn right, turn left, etc.)

    You did not mention the different file formats. 705 writes A. TCX file and type one of the 500. appropriate file.

    I’ll keep my 705, just because it looks impressive on my bike;)
