How do you get your playstation 3 to recognize usb devices like hard drives or mp3 players?
I have an external hard drive and lots of music and photos to him and when I connect the USB port of the PlayStation 3 do not see anywhere you can access the media in the drive. So I was wondering how to do that.
I don’t know if PS2 is like PS3, but they are probably similar, so I would say that the PS3 is only designed to recognize other PS3/PS2 USB things, like for instance, the eye toy. I have a PS2 and I can put the eye toy in it because that was designed for the PS2, but I tried to put in a USB flash drive, and it didn’t recognize it at all because it’s not designed for that.
