So, I just bought a Logitech Harmony remote im pretty sure its a Logitech Harmony 1, which is a fairly small and has a touch screen. But I always try to program on my PlayStation 3 for Blu-ray, but the PlayStation ignores commands that I tried to use the command butthat learning has not worked well so if someone could help me .

i dont think that it is compatible
And playstation is one of the really good blu ray players out (exept for advanced controls no disadvantage) so watch blu ray direct from ps3

The Harmony remote will not control the PS3 directly because the PS3 may only be controlled either directly through the USB port or wireless by Bluetooth. There are several USB solutions starting at $12 that give you limited control and the Bluetooth solutions start at $39 and give you complete control of your PS3 direct from your Harmony remote. Logitech makes a PS3 adapter themselves that sells for $60 but there are several other good solutions available as well. This article may help give you more information:
