How do I connect Bose Cinemate Home Theater to a Playstation 3?

I CineMate connected to the TV via optical, but can not make the audio work on the PS3. Works great for my TiVo, but can not get audio from Bose on the Playstation. Help!

    Connect optical cable directly from PS3 to Bose system.
