@ Barmer479 thank you for the comment! Regarding the warning horn any place of landing: a combination of headwind, ground effect and instinct safely, maintaining the aircraft of stagnation (the stall speed, flaps full, C172 = 40KT IAS). The horn is actually taught as a good example of when you have washed enough speed in the flare slowly bring the network down. The key to any good landing is control.

I went to school about 90 days of intensive ATP made 14 hours a day, then paid the way for formal training first. I went to the airline and said I’d fly part-time “or” full time “. I do not need the benefits package since I am retired .. military. . and I like the G-Honeywell 1000 on a 21 Pro Line. Some of these captains I flew with jealousy that I have so much time with the G-1000.

Actually, yes, I flew an airliner or two Since obtaining my license. I am southwest of the first officer about 400 hours in a B737-700 PIC. Do not make me an expert, but I think the G-1000 is more advanced than Honeywell.

um. . . . Avionics better than big hey. . . or have flown an airliner. . The G1000 is good, but I would not go that far.

I learned to fly at 51 and rose to a Cessna Mustang flight now. You’re never too old to learn to fly. Is not it great that we have in general aviation, particularly in the C-172S and 182S-C at least (do not forget the Mustang) have better avionics major airlines.

You know, when I was in a 182T a few months ago. I was in the right seat, but I realized that behind the G1000. It was a little glitch. The plan is that?
